Who is SUPER MARIO?
Ever since I bought a 3DS, I've been playing a lot of Super Mario 3D Land and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D (My favorite game of all time, btw), and I've noticed some key differences between the games. Zelda's world is much more vast and realistic, whereas Mario's mushroom kingdom is very tight and cartoonish. The puzzles in Ocarina had me scratching my head for hours, with a total gameplay of more than 50 hours, but the level design in Mario 3D land is so easy you start wondering why the game doesn't have more to it.
But the main difference is the main character in the games. The geniuses at Nintendo gave Ocarina of Time's Link some real depth. A boy kept safe in the forest for twelve years, left there by his dying mother during the great battle for the sacred gates, destined to become the hero of time and save Hyrule from the reign of the demon lord Ganon. But we know almost nothing about this so called "super" mario. What does this man in a red cap have to do with the royal family of the mushroom kingdom? Is he really a plumber? What, did he come to fix the castle toilets? And where does bowser come from? Does the princess owe him money? IT'S SO SHALLOW!
So that's it. I'm not buying another Mario game until Nintendo gives him a back story.
Bye.

Minecraft for 3DS
There's just one thing I'm missing. Minecraft 3D.
So I made a few concept sketches for it in Photoshop and sent them to Notch.
Hopefully he thinks its a good idea. :)
Enjoy.
